Female Political Figures
Randa Kassis is a Franco-Syrian politician, anthropologist, and journalist. Formerly a member of the Syrian National Council (2011–2012) until her expulsion, she subsequently founded the Movement for a Pluralistic Society. In 2011, she also established and chaired the Coalition of Secular and Democratic Syrians to unite opposition parties independent of the SNC against the Assad regime. #female_political_figures
